DETROIT – A Detroit Tigers game against the Toronto Blue Jays later this month has been moved to a morning first pitch.

The series finale between the two teams on Sunday, May 26, at Comerica Park was supposed to begin at 1:40 p.m. But first pitch has been moved to 11:35 a.m.

The Tigers said this change happened because the game was “selected by a national rights-holder.” Specific details will be revealed in “the near future,” the tweet says.

Detroit is currently 19-17 and in fourth place in the AL Central. Toronto is 16-20 and in the cellar of the AL East.
