ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Wolverines have released their schedule for the 2025 football season with a lot of enthusiasm.
Coming off a disappointing 7-5 season, the Wolverines have high hopes trending in their direction after signing Belleville High School quarterback Bryce Underwood alongside five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, four-star athlete Elijah Dotson, and the rest of the No. 9 ranked class of 2025.

However, an ideal schedule and the hiring of new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey will look to soften the blow of last season.

The Wolverines will alternate home and away in their first four games, including opening the season against the New Mexico Lobos, followed by a potential battle inside Memorial Stadium when they’ll take on the Oklahoma Sooners in a homecoming for head coach Sherrone Moore.
Moore, an offensive lineman from 2005-2006, helped the Sooners win two Big 12 championships and play in two BCS bowl games.
The matchup will be the first between the two schools since the 1976 Orange Bowl.
In week four, they’ll also hit the road searching for corn when they face the Nebraska Cornhuskers to open Big Ten play in a tough environment.
The men in maize will host six games inside The Big House, including their annual flag game against the Ohio State Buckeyes to end the season.
They’ll also visit the Michigan State Spartans for their annual in-state rivalry game when they battle it out for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, this time in Spartan Stadium.
Michigan will have two bye-weeks, with the first on Sept. 27 and Nov 8.
They’ll also travel to the University of Southern California for their first regular season game inside the LA Memorial Coliseum since 1957.
With the new acquisitions, coaching staff, and an expensive key to potentially unlock the forward pass, how many games do you expect the Wolverines to win next season?
