Owning a pet is known to help ease anxiety and depression and improve overall well-being, and there is an event coming up where you can meet the purr-fect new pet to take home. Anna Chrisman, form Michigan Humane, joined host Jason Carr to discuss the upcoming event and to introduce the pet of the week, Sir Tuna.

Sir Tuna is a 9-week-old black and white domestic short-haired kitten, who is very active and is looking for a loving home. He would do well in a home with some feline playmates, possibly a doggy friend, and children. If you would like to adopt Sir Tuna, the Mike Morse Law Firm will pay the standard adoption fees. Reach out to Michigan Humane for more details.

Michigan Humane is hosting a cat-centric pet adoption event this weekend on Saturday, September 26th at their Westland and Rochester Hills locations. You can sign up for an appointment to meet your new best friend at 1 pm this Friday. They will open up a second round of adoption appointments at 8 am on Saturday, the 26th. Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. There will be special adoption pricing for this event.
