Michigan State Police say the truck leaked oil onto the freeway amid the crash.

The freeway closed at Dequindre Road shortly after the incident. Police said at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday that a clean-up crew was on the way.

It was unknown how long the freeway would remain closed.

Police said the semi truck drive sustained a “possible broken arm” in the crash, but no other injuries were reported. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, either.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area for the time being.
