GAYLORD, Mich. – Two Michigan men who were on parole were arrested for delivering methamphetamine in a school zone after detectives seized drugs, $1,000 and a car while executing a search warrant.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, detectives with the Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement (SANE) and Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (HUNT), Gaylord police and Michigan State Police troopers executed a search warrant at a home in Gaylord.

A 35-year-old Grayling man and a 35-year-old Gaylord man, who were both on parole, were arrested.

The Grayling man was arrested for delivery of methamphetamine in a school zone and maintaining a drug vehicle. The Gaylord man was arrested for delivery of methamphetamine within a school zone and delivery of a schedule four narcotic in a school zone.

During the search, detectives seized drugs, $1,000 in cash and a car.

The two men were arrested and lodged at the Otsego County Jail as they await arraignment.
