WARREN, Mich. – A man is dead, and a woman is injured after a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Warren.

At around 6:20 a.m. on April 30, 2025, a man in his 50s or 60s was driving northbound on Van Dyke Avenue near North Civic Center Drive, reportedly lost control and crashed into a Dodge Durango.

According to Warren police, the man died at the scene. The woman driving the Durango was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are working to learn if drugs, alcohol or a medical condition were contributing factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.

As of 7:45 a.m., police said the area of Van Dyke Avenue near North Civic Center Drive and Kennedy Circle North is closed to traffic.
