Arctic front to bring bitter early-December chill this week across Metro Detroit

Wednesday highs in lower 30s; Thursday highs in lower 20s

4Warn Weather – The answer is “no”; it should not be this cold in early December.

Our average high is 41 degrees, and Thursday and Friday will run a solid 15-20 degrees below normal.

Tuesday brings mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to around 19 degrees.

Plenty of clouds for Wednesday, and winds pick up and start gusting over 25mph.

An arctic front has the potential to put down a quick dusting to an inch late in the day.

Thursday and Friday morning lows will be in the single digits, with wind chills below zero.

Highs will be in the low to mid-20s, but it will feel more like the single digits.
