Man injured in shooting following dispute on Detroit’s east side Police are continuing to investigate the shooting
DETROIT – A man was injured in a shooting on Detroit’s east side following a dispute.
The incident occurred on Thursday (April 9) around 3:30 p.m. on Maddelein Street near 7 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.
Police said the incident stemmed from a dispute that escalated to gunfire.
Officials said one man was struck and taken to a Metro Detroit hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
