A crash has closed all the westbound lanes of I-94 at 12 Mile Road in Macomb County.
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A crash has closed all the westbound lanes of I-94 at 12 Mile Road in Macomb County.
The freeway was closed on Thursday (July 16) as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Officials have not released details about the number of vehicles involved or whether anyone was injured.
Traffic is backed up for more than a mile, and motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the freeway reopens.
Officials have not provided an estimated time for the closure to be lifted.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
