Angels' Place provides residential services for people with developmental disabilities.

It was founded in 1992 by five moms who banded together with family and community to respond to the need for such services.

At that time, there was a waiting list of over 1,000 people in Oakland County alone. Angels' Place now has 20 homes located in neighborhood communities in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties with 4 – 6 residents per home. What makes Angels' Place very unique and special is that they will provide for the individuals in their care for the rest of their lives.

The relief they provide for the families of their clients is overwhelming; knowing their child or sibling will be cared for until the end of their life is an amazing gift. Dedication like this means that they must continually raise money to be able to provide this unprecedented long-term care.
