DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons won their 11th game in a row Tuesday night to extend their lead atop the Eastern Conference.

After the Pistons ripped off three wins in a row without their superstar point guard Cade Cunningham, he returned to the lineup on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.

Cunningham scored 25 points on 10-for-23 shooting and added 10 assists and six rebounds.

Jalen Duren added 24 points of his own on 8-of-12 shooting.

The win gives the Pistons a three-game lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the East. Since starting the season 2-2, the Pistons have ripped off 11 straight, despite playing parts of that stretch without Cunningham, Tobias Harris, Isaiah Stewart, Duren, and Ausar Thompson.

Daniss Jenkins has stepped up to fill the void, averaging 11.8 points per game on 49.5% shooting, including 44.8% from three. He dropped a career-high 26 against the Pacers on Monday with Cunningham sidelined.

The only team with a better record than the Pistons through 15 games is the Western Conference-leading Thunder, who sit at 14-1.

Now the Pistons will get a much-deserved break before a three-game road strech against the Bucks (Saturday), Pacers (Monday), and Celtics (Wednesday, Nov. 26).
