Local 4 continues to celebrate its 75th year in Detroit television with a two-hour documentary narrated by radio legend Dick Purtan, former WDIV Sportscaster Eli Zaret, and current WDIV Anchor Devin Scillian.

The theatrical run has expanded to more than twenty cities in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, with additional screenings across the U.S. and Canada later in the fall.

Boblo Island. It’s one of the most iconic Detroit area things you can bring up to anyone who grew up here.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the devastating attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Since Sept. 11, 2001, dozens of documentaries have been made, concerning the events that led up to and took place on that day.

There are two new movies streaming this weekend, from action packed thrillers, to wonderful scenic documentaries to wrap up Earth Week. Greg gave the movie three out of five reels. Greg gave the movie four reels out of five. Greg said Our Planet, which focuses on exotic wildlife, Disneynature Oceans and Growing Up Wild, and National Parks Adventure are great movies that highlight the beauty of nature. He said if you’ve already seen these movies, this weekend is a great time to revisit them.
