Alcohol likely involved in motorcycle crash that killed Clinton Township man, police say
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A 39-year-old Clinton Township man named Gary King died in a motorcycle crash on Sunday that alcohol was likely involved in, police say. King lost control of his 2020 Harley Davidson and crashed. Debris from the incident led to the Eastpointe manโs 2004 Harley Davidson crashing. The Eastpointe man sustained an arm injured arm during the crash. When a Chesterfield Township police sergeant started CPR on the victim at the scene he was not breathing.
19-year-old Warren man killed in motorcycle crash in Clinton Township
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A 19-year-old Warren man was killed in a collision between his motorcycle and a pickup truck on Tuesday. The crash happened in the area of Little Mack Avenue and Finley Street in Clinton Township at 3:26 p.m. Police said the Warren man was traveling south on Little Mack Avenue when he struck a truck turning onto Finley Street. The Warren man was transported to McClaren Hospital where he died from his injuries. The pickup truck driver was not injured in the incident. Madajczyk is with the Clinton Township Police Investigation Division.

Woman arrested for driving while intoxicated after motorcyclist dies in Groveland Township crash
GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. A motorcyclist was killed when a woman rear-ended them at a high rate of speed early Sunday morning, officials say. Michigan State Police say at about 3:30 a.m. a woman was traveling north on I-75 near Lahring Road at a high rate of speed when she rear-ended the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was killed from the impact of the crash, officials said. The woman who struck the motorcyclist was arrested for operating her vehicle while intoxicated. Northbound lanes of I-75 and two southbound lanes were closed on Sunday following the crash.

Detroit shooting shuts down Southfield Freeway overnight
DETROIT Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting that closed Southfield Freeway overnight on Saturday. Troopers responded to the incident on Southfield Freeway at Plymouth Road on Saturday night. Police say several motorcycles fled the scene when troopers arrived. Police found a firearm that they believe was used in the shooting. No one was reported injured in the shooting as of Sunday morning.
2 people die in motorcycle hit-and-run in western Michigan
CROTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Two people riding a motorcycle were killed in a hit-and-run crash in western Michigan, state police said. The victims were a 63-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman from Newaygo. They were hit while riding a motorcycle Saturday in Newaygo County's Croton Township, 40 miles (64 kilometers) north of Grand Rapids. The silver car probably has damage on the passenger side and is missing a passenger side mirror. The car was trying to pass another vehicle when it struck the motorcycle.
Pontiac SUV, motorcycle collision puts 11-year-old boy in critical condition
PONTIAC, Mich. An 11-year-old boy was found unresponsive by Oakland County Sheriffs deputies and rushed to a hospital Saturday night after a two-vehicle collision. According to authorities, deputies and Waterford fire crews arrived were called to the intersection of Melrose and Baltimore avenues on report of a motorcycle and SUV collision. The driver of the SUV, an 18-year-old man told police he was traveling southbound on Melrose Avenue when a motorcycle on Baltimore Avenue ignored a stop sign and collided with his vehicle. Police said the 11-year-old boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was found in the road unresponsive with head trauma. He was rushed to Beaumont Royal Oak Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

WARREN, Mich. A motorcycle rental business in Metro Detroit is offering people the freedom of the open road without having to spend thousands. The business is called Bike Life Rental and its located in Warren. Kaija Pack is the co-owner of the business. Pack said their business offers quite a variety of availability machines. However, you cant just decide it would be fun to hit the open road on a Harley and go rent one.
1 dead, 1 injured in separate, nearby motorcycle crashes in Gerrish Township
GERRISH TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ One motorcyclist was killed and another was injured following two separate crashes believed to be caused by a fallen tree blocking the road. Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-75 in Oakland County
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. โ A fatal crash shut down both directions of I-75 on Monday night at 14 Mile Road. A man riding a motorcycle was killed in the crash in Oakland County. That stretch of I-75 is under construction. Police said the motorcyclist was approaching slowed vehicles and rear ended a vehicle. Watch the video above for the full report.
