4Warn Weather – After multiple days with at least some rain and a muggier airmass, cooler temperatures are on the horizon.
For the rest of this Tuesday an isolated shower or storm still can’t be ruled out, but most of us look to be dry.
Anything that does develop will be few and far between. However if something does pop, we can’t rule out some lightning and thunder and perhaps an isolated strong wind gust.
A front moves in overnight Tuesday, bringing a better chance for a few showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two.
As this front moves in, it’s fighting the loss of daytime heat, so any storms should weaken as they move west to east.
Mid-week forecast
It looks like our window is roughly between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. While this rain won’t be area-wide, most of us should get a little something.
Aside from that early morning rain, clouds are decreasing throughout Wednesday, and highs are back close to the middle 80s.
While we anticipate another round of rain later Friday into Saturday morning and again overnight Sunday into Monday, it’s important to note that long-range data has not been consistent.

This uncertainty underscores the need for continuous monitoring of the forecast in the coming days.
What is looking certain is the cooler temperatures that are on the way. We’re in the 80s on Wednesday, but by Tuesday of next week, highs will only be in the lower 70s.
