ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Women, girls and those identifying as nonbinary can watch the AFC Ann Arbor women’s team play its first game this season for free on Sunday.
Kicking off at 3 p.m., the match will celebrate women and girls in sports and will have a pregame performance by DJ Mynt and an Amputee Soccer Showcase at halftime.

Attendees can see community role models like University of Michigan Women’s Ice Hockey team head coach Jenna Trubiano, U-M Amputee Soccer Camp founder Emily Eitzman and environmental advocate Izzy Sutton.
There will be a chance to win tickets to NWSL Game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, grab a snack at food trucks, or let kids play in a designated, and expanded, play area.
The game will be played against Kalamazoo FC outside Pioneer High School at 601 W. Stadium Blvd.
The event is done in partnership with Girls On The Run, an organization encouraging girls to find their inner confidence through physical activity programs.
