Watch Out for Early Morning Ice
Overnight snow melted on most paved surfaces but, now that temperatures have dropped to and below freezing, some areas of ice are developing, and Kim DeGiulio is reporting some freeway crashes occurring as a result. We'll see melting of the ice and snow today, as we get at least morning sunshine, with highs reaching the mid 40s. Skies may become mostly cloudy for a few hours this afternoon, with scattered snow showers possible in the Thumb, and also southwest Lenawee County. A northwest wind increasing to 10 to 15 mph today will keep wind chills in the 30s. But don't let that get you down...a more more pleasurable number (70s) is back in the forecast!
