ANN ARBOR, Mich. – More than half a million people are expected to flood Tree Town during the annual Ann Arbor Art Fair this week.
Several streets in the downtown area will be closed to allow for pre-Art Fair set up starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

Closures will last through midnight on Saturday.
Ann Arbor Art Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Here’s which streets will be closed:
- Main Street from William to Huron
- Liberty from Ashley to State
- State Street from Jefferson to Washington
- William from Thompson to State
- Maynard from Jefferson to Liberty
- North University from State to Fletcher
- Washington from Thayer to Fletcher
- South University from State to Forest
- East University from Willard to South University

Several roads will close earlier in the week for special events before Art Fair.
These roads will close between 3 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday for the Dart for Art:
- North University between State Street and Church
- Church from North University to South University
- South University from Church to East University
The inaugural Paint the Town event will close streets between 6 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday:
- Main Street between William and Huron
- Washington from Ashley to Main
- Liberty from Ashley to State (intersections open at 4th and 5th Avenues and at Division)
- Maynard barricaded from Liberty to just before the parking structure
- State from William to Washington
