Ann Arbor police find 3D-printed gun during traffic stop

A 3D-printed gun with no serial number was found during an Ann Arbor traffic stop. (WDIV)

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A traffic stop in Ann Arbor resulted in the discovery of a 3D-printed handgun.

According to authorities, officers pulled over the vehicle near the intersection of Maple Road and Dexter Avenue. Police said they found the 3D-printed gun with no serial number in the vehicle.

The 18-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger were taken into custody. They were both charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
