SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Our first Go 4 It event of 2026 takes us to Oakland County, where we’re hosting a book drive to help young readers.
We’re partnering with Reach Out and Read Michigan for our latest event, “Go 4 It: Raising Readers.”

The event will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at the Southfield Public Library.
The library is at 26300 Evergreen Road in Southfield.
We’re looking for new books for readers ages 0-5.
If you want to help, there are three options: Purchase a book or bundle from the recommended list and drop it off to us at the library, purchase books on the Reach Out and Read Michigan website, or make a monetary donation.
We will not be accepting used books.
