Coat check chaos prompts operational review at Huntington Place

DETROIT – Are you missing your coat? It may still be at Huntington Place.

After the coat check chaos that broke out Friday night after the Detroit Auto Show Charity Preview, many people are still looking for their lost coats.

Among them was Cindy May Druckenmiller, who was particularly distraught over a missing mink coat that belonged to her late sister. The coat is obviously very special to her.

“I’m going to cry, it was my sister’s coat and she’s not here,” Druckenmiller said. “That was the perfect occasion to wear it.”

Despite her efforts to retrieve it, including waiting for hours and returning the next day, the coat remains lost.
