How Karen Drew planned the ultimate Oregon trip

I was just casually scrolling through my feed when, out of nowhere, these stunning images started appearing—beaches with massive boulders, winding hiking trails leading to serene lakes, and breathtaking waterfalls.

I quickly realized all these incredible scenes were from Oregon. Oregon?! It had never really been on my radar, and I hadn’t given it much thought before. A friend did visit a few years ago and raved about how spectacular it was, but I didn’t think much of it at the time.

But now, these images had me hooked. I started diving deeper, searching for more, and the more I saw, the more captivated I became. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and I knew right then that I had to experience this place for myself.

So, I booked a flight for my two daughters and me, and we set off for a 9-day adventure in Oregon. Now, I want to share our journey with you—the planning, the destinations, the costs, and tips on how to pull off a trip like this. My social media feed has been buzzing with questions from people curious about our itinerary and how we made it happen, so I figured it was time to share.

If you’re into hiking, beaches, mountains, lavender farms, wineries, snowball fights, and gorgeous sunsets, you’re going to want to check this out!
