The bears rule at theaters this weekend

Two new movies are out and they both have to do with bears

A panda and a teddy bear are the stars of two new movies in theaters this weekend. One knows Kung Fu, the other knows how to scare you. Movie reviewer Greg Russell joined “Live In The D” host Tati Amare for Reel Talk to discuss “Kung Fu Panda 4″ and “Imaginary”.

Chauncy the teddy bear is at the center of “Imaginary”. The film by Blumhouse is a thriller about a young girl who finds a stuffed bear, but slowly her personality begins to change as she begins to hear things from imaginary friends. When people try to intervene and help the girl they quickly find out that Chauncy isn’t the cute, cuddly bear he appears to be. “I think everyone will be able to see a little of themselves in it,” said Russell. He gave the movie 3 out of 5 reels.

The other movie he talked about was “Kung Fu Panda 4″. He said the movie is all about Po, voiced by Jack Black, who must now pick a new warrior to follow in his footsteps. When Po becomes the master and has to train a new hero things don’t go exactly as planned.
