The Halloween season is a fun time to dress up in costume, and you may want to dress your pet in a costume as well, but there are some things you should think about before you include your pet in the holiday fun. Lidia Vesterfelt with Michigan Humane stopped by Live in the D, to chat about safety when it comes to dressing up your pets. “It can be fun to dress your pets up in costumes, but you have to make sure that they are comfortable with it,” Vesterfelt said. She said, never force your pet to wear a costume. Vesterfelt also gave some tips on keeping pets safe on Halloween night.
