Check out these budget-friendly toys for the holidays

The Toy Insider shares toy suggestions

You don’t have to break the bank to stack up toys underneath the Christmas tree this holiday season.

James Zahn, senior editor with The Toy Insider, has some ideas for budget-friendly toys for the holidays that are Toy Insider approved.

First up, Zahn talked about the Star Wars Doorables Galaxy Peek Series 2. They are mini figurines that come in a mystery pack of four.

Another suggestion Zahn shared was Booksy toys, which are collectible figures. They come in a variety of characters, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol figures. Kids can twist open the toy to reveal a tiny book inside that kids can read, Zahn explained.

Next up, Zahn talked about the Simpsons Living Room Diorama PlaySet by Jakks Pacific.

Another budget-friendly idea Zahn shared was Yummiland Lipgloss Dolls. This toy comes with a tiny doll, but the fun doesn’t stop there. It comes with the ingredients for kids to make their own scented lip gloss. Zahn said it’s great for the older kids and tweens.

The final toy idea The Toy Insider mentioned is the Honeybee Acres Treetop Hideaway. Zahn said it includes characters and 360-degrees of play action.
