Iconic car designer meets proud owners

Father and son have a Plymouth Barracuda

A chance meeting at the Wood Dream Cruise led to a father and son getting to show their gratitude to the designer of their favorite car.

If you lived in Detroit in the 1960′s and 1970′s you probably remember the legendary Plymouth Barracuda, and father and son Rodney Sloan and Grant Sloan still own one.

During the Woodward Dream Cruise last year, Rodney and Grant received a surprise of a lifetime when they crossed paths with Milton Antonick who played an intricate role in designing the Barracuda. The three sat down to talk shop and learn about Milton’s life and passion.

“The whole reason I have a passion for cars is because of the ‘Cuda,” Grant said. “This car means the world to me, and it’s the reason I am where I am today.”

Grant currently highlights his passion for cars on social media where he’s gone viral for as an influencer who showcases upgrading and selling cars.

Grant said he and his dad will never part ways with their Barracuda. Watch the video above to see the trio together with the ‘Cuda.
