When you walk into Juan Blanco’s Taco and Tequila in Fraser, the first thing you’ll notice, is just how big and open the restaurant is.
“We just wanted to bring something fresh and unique, something that gives you a summertime feel, like you’re on vacation,” said Edward Firestine, Juan Blanco’s Managing Director.
He said the restaurant aims to give diners a taste of Mexico, not only with the authentic, colorful dishes, but with the murals you’ll find throughout the restaurant, and the cocktails.
Firestine said they have a variety of margaritas, all fresh and handmade with their in-house recipe. That also goes for the dishes, which are prepared by Chef Juan (no relation to the restaurants name) who is a native of Mexico.
“We give diners and huge portion of food,” Firestine said. They even have fried ice cream, that’s presented Vegas style, with a lit sparkle stick.
