It’s easy to go stir crazy when you can’t go out in bad weather. Pets are not immune to this either. Lidia Vesterfelt with Michigan Humane stopped by “Live in the D” to give some advice on how to enrich your pets on a day inside.
“Instead of giving them their food in a regular bowl, maybe try a slow feeder or a lick mat,” Vesterfelt said.
She also recommended the following when it comes to passing the time inside:
· Working on training with your pet
· Play games like hide and seek, fetch, and nosework games
· Socialize your pet
