Spooky season is here, and there are plenty of events to celebrate

From haunted houses to family friendly fun - here’s a list of What’s Happening around Detroit

Spooky season is upon us and there’s a few events opening to help get you in the spirit. Here’s a list of some spooky and fun happening this weekend in and around Detroit.

-Glenlore Trails “Witching Hour.” An immersive experience that has guests walk through a forest that’s been transformed into an illuminated one-mile trail.

Happening Thursdays through Sundays until November 2.

3860 Newtown Rd. Commerce Township.

-Ford House Harvest Day - The event features 60 local artists and makers, petting zoo with pony rides, a beer tent and more.

Happening Saturday, 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

1100 Lake Shore, Grosse Pointe Shores.

-Azra Chamber of Horrors opening weekend- Deemed one of metro Detroit’s scariest haunted attractions. New for 2025 “no monster nights,” where there are no actors, happening on select Tuesdays.

Opens Friday September 26, runs through November 1.

31401 John R Rd., Madison Heights.

-Down on Main Street Music Festival - One night event will celebrate Country, Rock and Americana music with live performances and a walkable vibrant festival setting.

Happening Friday 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., Main St. Downtown Ann Arbor.

-Be Beautiful Stage Play- An anti-bulling Opera for children of all ages. Presented by the Motor City Lyric Opera’s The play is based on the book written by Beth Griffith-Manley.
