Whether you’re trick or treating, hosting a party, or just looking for a little festive fun, there’s plenty you can do to take your Halloween celebration to the next level.
Kerry Doman, the founder of Little Guide Detroit, appeared on “Live In The D” to share some creative suggestions.
First, she talked about Boo Bags where you ring the doorbell at someone’s house and leave them a special Halloween-themed surprise at their doorstep. Kerry suggested including more than just candy, but also crafts, stickers, and glow sticks.
Kerry explained that glow sticks can be used to help keep the kiddos safe while they trick or treat in the dark. She also mentioned that you can get the kids Halloween bags or buckets that light up or you can put a tea light at the bottom of the basket to illuminate it.
Halloween isn’t just for the kids though, so Kerry said you can put a bottle of wine in a Boo Bucket for the adults.
