Halloween is Oct. 31st, and if you’re still looking for ways to celebrate there are plenty of options.
You might want to stop by the train station in Detroit. Michigan Central along with Ford Philanthropy will be transforming the station into a festive family-friendly gathering. You can enjoy kids’ activities, live entertainment, food and drinks, as well as trick-or-treating. The fun is happening outside the train station Friday, Oct. 31st from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“Halloween in the D” is happening Friday, Oct. 31st throughout the city. You can trick-or-treat at several police precincts and fire houses, enjoy block club decorating parties, and a variety of other events. Trick-or-treating at most locations begins at 4 p.m. Be sure to check out the city’s website for more information.
The Hub Stadium in Novi is turning up the terror for two nights, so if you’re a grown-up looking for a fun Halloween celebration, this might be for you. Adults 18 and older can party with a live DJ, eerie decor, food and drink specials, spooky costumed performers, and more. You can attend this Friday, Oct. 31st and Saturday, Nov. 1st at 8 p.m. ID is required at the door.
If you’ve been wanting to enjoy a hayride, this weekend is your last chance at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills. Take a stroll through the trails and enjoy cider and s’mores Friday, Oct. 31st from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Finally, this is not a Halloween event, but still a chance to dress up. You can attend Youmacon, an anime cosplay fest celebrating its 20th year. The event features a world of gaming, pop-culture, art, comics, and K-Pop Demon Hunter personalities. The fun kicks off Thursday, Oct. 30th at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Nov. 2nd at Huntington Place in Detroit.
