We’ve been experiencing a brutal stretch of sub-freezing temperatures this winter. While many of us want to “think spring” - it still several weeks away. Local 4 Lifestyle Editor, Jon Jordan joined “Live in the D,” for Trending Tuesday with some topical options to combat the cold. He spoke about Cozy Maxxing. "It primarily deals with your home, but it can be applied to other things," Jon said.
Jon suggested things you can do with your home decor, like hang curtains to make the ceilings look taller. “If you hang a curtain rod at the top of where the ceiling and the wall meet, you automatically make the ceiling look taller. It’s that verticality.”
Jon also spoke about Cubbies. “Cubbies are, you know, little intimate spaces that you could carve out of maybe a space in your home that’s not being utilized, like, you know, under staircases, window seats, they’re easy to install.” This space can be a little coffee bar or little play space for the kids.
