DETROIT – A retired police sergeant is behind bars for allegedly shooting and killing his tenant inside a home Tuesday afternoon.
Detroit police said at around 5 p.m. on Dec. 10 on Kentfield Street, a 40-year-old man was shot multiple times, and the gunman was his landlord—who had been retired from the force for eight years.
It’s unclear what sparked the argument between the men, but investigators said the tenant was unarmed.
