Police seek help identifying men behind skimming device fraud at Detroit businesses

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking help identifying two men who are behind a skimming device fraud at multiple businesses.

The incident occurred on Saturday (Jan. 18) at 12:50 p.m. in the 20800 block of West 8 Mile Road.

Officials said the two men installed the skimmer device on a credit/debit machine before leaving the location.

Officials say that the men also committed the same crimes at two other businesses located in the 3600 block of Gratiot Avenue and the 4700 block of Conner Street.

One of the men was last seen wearing a blue hat, black shirt, dark jeans, and white shoes.

The other man was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat, and blue jeans.
