SAUGATUCK, Mich. – A beach in southwestern Michigan has ranked among the best in the country.
Oval Beach in Saugatuck, Michigan, was named one of the best beaches in the U.S., according to TripAdvisor’s 2025 Traveler’s Choice Awards.
The Michigan beach landed a spot on the list due to its “fine sand” and beautiful shoreline.
“It’s all about fine sand and scenic views at Oval Beach,” according to TripAdvisor writers. “There’s no bad time to visit this wonderful spot, plus there’s always ample parking here. Pair it with a trip to the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area and you’re all set for a memorable day out.”
The list is compiled from millions of traveler reviews and ratings. Oval Beach ranked No. 24 out of 25 on the list.
