MACKINAW CITY, Mich. – The Mackinac Bridge closed down Monday due to falling ice.
It’s the second time since Saturday, March 29, that the bridge was closed because of the ice. As of 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 31, the Mackinac Bridge Authority is prohibiting all vehicles from the bridge while ice remains an issue.

The Mackinac Bridge Authority posted on social media that Monday’s ice was “the worst we’ve ever seen on the bridge.”
