Lions to face Chargers in their first Hall of Fame Game since 1991

Preseason game will air on Local 4

DETROIT – The NFL’s 106th season will kick off with the Detroit Lions taking on the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.

The preseason game will be played July 31 at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, April 28.

It will be the Lions’ fourth trip to Canton and the Chargers’ third. Detroit won its last Hall of Fame Game 14-3 against the Denver Broncos in 1991.

The 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game presented by Novartis will air on NBC and Peacock, featuring Mike Tirico as play-by-play announcer, Cris Collinsworth as analyst, Melissa Stark as sideline reporter, and Terry McAulay as rules analyst in Canton.
