DETROIT – Detroit Pistons legend Chauncey Billups has been arrested by the FBI in connection with a gambling probe, according to a report.

NBA insider Shams Charania reported Billups’ arrest on Thursday morning. Billups is currently the head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers.
Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups has been arrested by the FBI for alleged illegal gambling, sources tell ESPN.

Billups spent parts of eight seasons in Detroit, most notably leading the team to an NBA title in 2004 and a second Finals appearance in 2005.
In his eight seasons with the Pistons, Billups averaged 17.5 points, 6.6 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
“Mr. Big Shot” made five All-Star teams, three All-NBA teams, and was the 2004 Finals MVP.
The charge or charges he faces were not immediately known.
Miami Heat’s Terry Rozier arrested
Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was also arrested Thursday morning in connection with the federal investigation into sports betting, according to AP.
AP said two people spoke to them on the condition of anonymity, as they couldn’t publicly discuss the details of the investigation.
One of the AP sources said the NBA has previously investigated Rozier and is still looking into the actions of former Detroit player Malik Beasley.
The NBA had no immediate comment, according to AP.
