Police search for gunman who robbed Family Dollar in Detroit

Police said the suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency

DETROIT – Police are seeking information from the community regarding an armed robbery of a Family Dollar in Detroit.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at approximately 8:56 p.m., at the Family Dollar located in the 18200 block of Schoolcraft Road, the suspect approached the 35-year-old man victim (employee), pointed a gun at him, and demanded money from the cash register.

Police said the suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.
