BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 25-year-old man from Mount Pleasant is facing multiple charges after allegedly firebombing a Brighton Township neighborhood and stalking a child.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a home on Burson Drive in Brighton Township on Nov. 28 after reports of multiple Molotov cocktails being thrown at the home and several other fires set in the neighborhood.

Alert neighbors quickly extinguished the fires, minimizing damage.
Authorities said they found evidence of incendiary devices on the road and fire damage to the property.
Alex Buley-Neumar was quickly identified as a suspect. Authorities believe the attack is connected to a stalking and harassment case involving a child.
He was taken into custody by Mount Pleasant police Nov. 29 and transported to the Livingston County Jail.
On Monday, Dec. 1, Buley-Neumar was charged with manufacturer / possess Molotov cocktail causing damage, using a computer to commit a crime, aggravated stalking of a minor and accosting a child for immoral purposes.
He remains jailed on a $1 million bond.
