Trade Up: Motor City Contractor fund boosts construction

DETROIT – The Motor City Contractor fund has a 10-month business development program.

The program will offer $5k grants to boost construction companies, one month of one-on-one coaching and resources for businesses.

The Motor City Contractor aims to support business to grow and have more workers hired.

Chauny Barnes, contractor of the program and Ashlee Cunningham, program director for the fund joined Local 4 Live to talk about the fund.
