Man found dead on side of road in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – A man was found dead on the side of a road in Monroe County early Thursday morning.

Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man passed out on the side of South Telegraph Road just north of Crabb Road in Bedford Township on July 23, just before 1:30 a.m.

When deputies arrived in the area, they found the man dead on the shoulder of the northbound lane.

The sheriff’s office said the circumstances surrounding the man’s death and the man’s identity are still under investigation.
