Mackinac Bridge reopens following crash, multiple injuries reported Rear-end crash caused all lanes to close
MACKINAC COUNTY, Mich. – The Mackinac Bridge reopened to traffic Wednesday morning after a crash.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported the crash just before 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 23. The crash caused the bridge to close for hours.
The bridge reopened to traffic just before 8 a.m.
According to Michigan State Police, two cars were traveling southbound when one car rear-ended the other. Multiple injuries were reported, including two serious injuries.
