DETROIT – Detroit Lions star Aidan Hutchinson responded to the Giants player who said he “didn’t do anything” all game until the final play.

After Hutchinson made the game-winning sack Sunday against New York, the Giants’ right tackle, Jermaine Eluemunor, had some harsh words.

“He strikes me as the type of guy who would try to celebrate that one play, but for most of the day, I was on an island with him, and he didn’t do anything,” Eluemunor told Dan Duggan, who covers the Giants for The Athletic.

Reporters asked Hutchinson to share his thoughts on the comments.

“I think people will have their opinions about how things went, and that is what it is,” Hutchinson said. “We won the game, and I ended the game with a sack. I don’t care when the sack comes -- as long as it’s there and we get the win it’s great. So, yeah, I’m not going to address it any further.”

Hutchinson said he is moving on to focus on the Packers, who the Lions host this Thursday at 1 p.m. ET.
