Michigan State University police release note left by campus shooter

Police have released images of the note that was found in the pocket of the Michigan State University mass shooter. Three Michigan State students were killed and five were injured on Feb. 13, 2023, when 43-year-old Anthony McRae opened fire at Berkey Hall and the MSU Union building, according to police. The first calls reporting gunshots came in at 8:18 p.m. McRae was located off campus at 11:49 p.m. He shot himself when officers approached him. He died at the scene.
