Detroit’s Belle Isle Conservatory reopening after more than two years of undergoing renovations

The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle in Detroit is set to reopen on December 4, after being closed for two years for renovations. The conservatory underwent a $10 million renovation, which included updating the upper 60 feet of its 80-foot glass dome. It will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
