Freeland tornado packed 90 MPH winds, damaged homes, property

Local 4 saw tornado warnings pop up across several Metro Detroit communities Tuesday afternoon. But so far there’s been no confirmed tornado here. But up I-75 in Freeland, the National Weather Service says an EF-1 tornado did touch down. The NWS estimates winds around 90 miles per hour, and says it stayed on the ground for nearly a mile and a half.
