How families with disabilities can stay safe
For families caring for loved ones with autism, dementia, disabilities, or other medical conditions, safety concerns can go far beyond what most people realize. From wandering away from home to struggling to communicate with first responders during an emergency, everyday situations can quickly become dangerous. Lieutenant Chad Sell with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and his wife, Melissa Sell, co-founders of LivCo Connected, joined Local 4 Live to talk more about the event.
