Go 4 It: Hunger Free Summer (WDIV)
TAYLOR, Mich. – This month, we’re teaming up with Gleaners to help create a hunger-free summer for those who need it.
On June 30, we’ll be at the Gleaners Community Food Bank on Trolly Industrial Drive in Taylor to help sort food, and we need volunteers!
We’re looking for 20 people to sign up to help from 9-11:30 a.m., and 20 more to sign up to help from 1-3:30 p.m.
If you want to help, you can either volunteer or make a monetary donation to Gleaners, which will be used to buy needed food items.
Who : WDIV is partnering with Gleaners Community Food Bank, Henry Ford Health, and the Gilbert Family Foundation.
