REDFORD, Mich. – There is a serious snow plow problem in Redford. Its fast-moving plow has taken out mailboxes, leaving some without mail.
Residents contacted Help Me Hank, who talked to one resident who showed Local 4 the close proximity of the road and the mailbox.
Johnnie Hollad’s mailbox was destroyed by the snowplow cruising down her street in Redford.
These are photos of her mailbox in the snow, sheered off the post by the plow.
It has happened to her and their neighbors twice in the last few years.
“I think they got a little bit too close, and when they get close, trying to get all the snow up while moving with speed, and they just go through here, you just see mailboxes just flying,” said Holland.
No mailbox means no mail, which she has not received for three weeks.
