DETROIT – The holiday season is upon and if you’re looking for something to do this weekend in metro Detroit, here’s a list of fun happenings.

-(Polar Beers at the Detroit Zoo)- A 21 and up event that features alcoholic beverages for adults who can also experience the Zoo’s Wild Lights display.

Happening, Thursday, 7 p.m. Detroit Zoo

-(Potters Market)-Celebrating 50 years, the market will feature more than 100 artists with unique gift ideas.

Happening Thursday 6 p.m. till 9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. till 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. till 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Southfield Pavilion, Southfield.

-(The Detroit Urban Craft Fair)- Celebrating 20 years, the event features more than 100 small business vendors.

Happening Saturday 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. Masonic Temple, Detroit.

-(Midnight Madness)-The event brings together three downtown Ann Arbor districts, State Street, Kerrytown, and the Main Street Area Association.

The area will be filled with twinkling lights, food, live performances, family activities, and more.

Happening Friday, starting at 5 p.m., downtown Ann Arbor

-(Trenton Noel Nights)- The event includes themed activities, entertainment, shopping, holiday markets, and more.

Happening, Dec. 6, 13, and 20. downtown Trenton

-(The Nutcracker: Magical Christmas Ballet)- This year the classic holiday ballet will be reimagined with acrobatic performances, larger than life puppets, and more.

Happening, Sunday at 12 p.m., 4 p.m., and 8 p.m. Fox Theatre, downtown Detroit.

-(Who Brought The Humbug)- Original stage play filled with festive music, fun, and more for the entire family. Performance includes high-energy dance that fuses tap and hip-hop.

Happening Sunday at 7 p.m. Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Detroit.
